Trip to Transylvania

Politehnica University of Timisoara organises a two day trip in Transylvania open for DEMOCON participants and their accompanying persons. The trip is a private one, with the university bus (27 places) and driver, but with the support of the Eximtur travel agency, a trusted UPT partner. The cost of the trip is an extra payment which will be paid at conference or summer school registration and is not included in the conference cost. The deadline to register for the trip is 20 May, and no cancellations are accepted after this date, as UPT will pay the accommodation in full on May 21.

The price includes:

• Transport from Timisoara and return in a 27 places bus

• Accommodation/Bed and breakfast June 26-27th at Mercure Binder Bubi Hotel 4^*

• Dinner pre-set menu at Vlad Dracul House Restaurant. Includes: 2 courses, dessert, water, bread

• Lunch pre-set menu either at Unglerus Restaurant in Biertan (at around 1.00 pm) or at a Restaurant in Sibiu (at around 2.30 pm). Includes: 2 courses, dessert, water, bread

• Professional English speaking guide in Sighisoara (2 h)

• 1 SGL + meals as per the group (for the driver)

• Entrance fee in Sighisoara Museums

The price does not include:

• Extra Entrance fees, tips, not mentioned services, personal expenses
